kjrb-logoBoomer Radio Comes Alive in Spokane!

Spokane’s Only Boomer Station

Every generation grows up with a new piece of technology. Today, it’s the mobile device. Yesterday, it was the transistor radio — tuned to KJRB.

KJRB - Am 790 is back, as Spokane’s first Boomer radio station—radio the way you remember—with local talk, local news and popular music of the day when the day was during the Baby Boom, 1946-1964.

A couple of local stations, primarily by importing Satellite audio streams, play music we Boomers enjoyed, but none really offer interesting talk to this growing and important demographic. We will!

Monday – Saturday, from 8:00 am to noon, we’ll offer up—primarily live—some of our popular radio programs. And, on KJRB – Spokane’s top 40 station in the 60s and 70s. It’s a perfect station to offer Boomers current and relevant programming.

Young at Heart

Young at Heart

Baby Boomers control most of the personal financial assets in the U.S. and account for most of America’s consumer spending. Are you talking to them? Talk right in their ears on a medium they’ve used all their lives: Young at Heart – a radio program aimed directly at those most likely to buy what you want to sell.

House to Home

House to Home

Landscape architect and local personality, Clyde Haase, brings his comfortable, conversational style, and decades of market knowledge on home improvement projects to radio. Spokane homeowners hungry for more than simple advice on how to plant and prune will find an expanded world of house and home advice here!

Business Talks

Spokane’s popular BUSINESS TALKS has been a tradition in homes and offices across the Inland Northwest. It’s the region’s only local business radio talk show. Now it airs five days a week and live from the studios of KJRB. When you want to hear fun and informative conversations with area business founders, owners and top-level managers, there’s only one place to turn – Business Talks.

Tastes & Trends

Tastes & Trends

Whether you are new to town or you’ve lived here your entire life, the region’s lifestyles and trends are in constant motion. There’s nothing better than being “in the know” about what’s new, sassy, savory and tasty. We’re going to have a great time on this journey and we’ll be taking listeners along with us.

Better Health Together

Better Health Together

Baby Boomers are impacting the health care system like never before. Families, employers, and individuals look to keep medical costs down. And, did you know we’re a regional medical hub with more people employed in the health industry than any other industry in Spokane/Coeur d’Alene?

Community Talks

Community Talks

Whether you’re hosting a fundraising event for a local cause, launching a new service or you’re the major sponsor for an event, it works together to create a better community. The weekly program airs Tuesday mornings. We now have an exclusive program for area nonprofit organizations that includes your community voice.

Let it Shine

Let it Shine

Let It Shine with Lucinda Kay is a lively broadcast featuring elements of coaching, teaching, motivation, and probably a little ass-kickin’. Lucinda’s life and coaching philosophy deliver plenty of personality, bathed in the belief that we all carry a powerful light. With a little (or a lot) nurturing every being can truly let it shine.

For the Records

For the Records

It’s all so complicated now….cable and satellite TV, radio, iPods, iPads, streaming, CD’s, faxes, emails, texts, voice mails… There was a time when Spokane had ONE radio station — one that mattered, any- way! — and it gave us everything we needed from that little mysterious building on 57th Avenue. You were invincible then, and KJRB was right there with you!
